Palas de Rei
Palas de Rei gets its name from the Latin Pallatium Regis ('king's palace'), because it was a royal seat in at the beginning of the 8th century, in the late Visigothic era. (Incidentally, it it also said to have been the residence of Queen (Doña) Urraca for some time a bit later, at the beginning of the 11th century.)
