What to see in Castelo do Neiva
Igreja de Santiago
The church gains its significance from the 9th century inscription found on one of the walls, which marked its consecration. Being dedicated to Saint James as early as the 9th century is currently the earliest evidence of him being venerated beyond the river Minho.
